Adidas vs star was

I don’t really fancy endorsing commerical brands. Actually everytime we got offered money to place viral content or campaigns in Mutantinvasion.com we’ve just said “no thanks”.  I don’t say we are paladins of anti-capitalism or some sort of vigilantes of a riggid ethical code,  just saying that this e-zine’s only puropose is to discuss things worth it that we find interesting for fun (ok..now being honest with ourselves…they need to offer more money for me to move the ass for them)

Once this is clarified I think the start Wars-Adidas mush up requires a special mention, not because is something new but because this time Dorothy Tang, known for  her adaption of traditional Chinese art elements into contemporary confections, took it one step further. Insprired by both the original star wars posters and chinese vintage chinese films posters  she dressed up her iconic “shopping baby” as Leia, Han, Luke, Yoda and Darth Vader to name a few. Really cool stuff… !

I might not make it to the Taipei on time to see her exhibition at the Adidas Originals Dunhua Concept Store but if you feel like droping by you have time until Februrary 2012 !
